Welcome to Olde Town Shindig Mural Competition and Auction page - the place to bid, vote and have fun! After it's inaugural year in 2023, we heard an outpouring of how much people loved the fact that the Olde Town Shindig featured live painting by so may talented artists. So of course, we had to do it again. Not only does this competition encourage the addition of art to public spaces, but the Grand Prize Winner will work with a local business/property owner to install a permanent mural in Olde Town Arvada!
This means that when you support this competion, either through bidding on completed murals or using your dollars to vote for your favorite, you are supporting the addition of public art in Olde Town Arvada!

How to Bid and Vote
We've done our best to make this process as easy as possible, so hopefully we did a good job!
To bid or vote you will need to login. Just enter your phone number or email below to get started.
To VOTE for your favorite artist simply click on the item that reads "Vote for (Artist's Name) Mural". Once you have arrived at the item;s page you will see options to purchase different quantities of votes (1-25 qty). Don't worry - you are allowed to vote as many times as you like, and the more vote you purchase the better the deal! Just please remember to check out prior to 6:00 PM on Saturday September 7th or we may not be able to count your votes!
We will count up the votes and the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place Winners of the People's Choice Competition will win cash prizes!
To BID on your favorite murals and take them home, you will once again click on the item titled "Mural by (Artist's Name). The bidding begins at $200 per piece and rises by $50 increments. All pieces are 4'x8' or 8'x4' (depending on the orientation). The panels our artists are painting are lightweight and can easily be transported and hung. Proceeds from the sale of each mural will be split between the artist and Olde Town Arvada BID (50/50).
The bidding will end at 9:00PM on Sunday September 8th. The winning bidder will be contacted once the auction is closed and arrangements will be made for pick-up.
